Millis Friends of the Council on Aging (FCOA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Millis Council on Aging through fundraising, community engagement, and advocacy for our town’s senior citizens.
Mission Statement
The objective of this non-profit organization shall be to render a program of service to institute fund-raising projects for items not provided for by the Town of Millis or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to promote greater community interest, and to perpetuate the dignity and well-being of senior citizens of Millis by our efforts, enterprise, and endeavors.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to cultivate a thriving and inclusive community where seniors are empowered, cherished, and supported through meaningful connections, enriching programs, and essential resources. Through dedicated fundraising efforts, we aspire to create opportunities that enhance the well-being, dignity, and quality of life for seniors, ensuring their golden years are filled with joy, purpose, and fulfillment.
Current Fundraisers
- Spring Community Luncheon – May 2026. A town-wide event featuring local music, food, and raffles to benefit transportation and wellness programs.
- Walk for Wellness – August 2026. A family-friendly fundraiser supporting mobility and outreach programs.
